Join artist Mike Byrne for a hands-on stop motion animation workshop where imagination takes centre stage and stories come to life one frame at a time.
Participants will create their own characters using colourful plasticine clay before learning the fundamentals of stop motion animation. Working step-by-step, they’ll bring their creations to life through movement, capturing each frame to build their own animated scenes and short films.
Once the animation is complete, the fun continues with sound effects, music and, for the brave, the opportunity to record their own voice-overs to give their characters even more personality.
Perfect for creative minds who love storytelling, filmmaking, art or technology, this workshop offers a fun introduction to the world of animation while encouraging imagination, problem-solving and collaboration.
