Scarecrow Building Workshop with Geraldine Wisdom, 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th of October, 12pm – 2pm, €20 for all four Workshops

Inspired by spooky American cornfields, this fun, hands on scarecrow making workshop brings a little autumn magic to life! Participants will learn how to design and create their own unique scarecrow using a mix of natural, recycled and colourful materials. From building the basic structure to adding costumes, characters and imaginative details, the workshop encourages creativity, teamwork and plenty of playful experimentation. Perfect for beginners and all ages, this relaxed and enjoyable workshop is a chance to get crafty, make something truly unique and celebrate the creativity and traditions of the harvest season. Come along, get creative and bring your very own scarecrow to life, complete with plenty of personality.
Please bring some old clothes with you to dress your scarecrow. These can be anything from shirts and trousers to hats, scarves or other accessories.
Once completed, the scarecrows will be displayed outdoors around Nenagh Arts Centre for the week of Halloween, adding a spooky and creative touch to our surroundings.
