Scarecrow Building Workshop with Geraldine Wisdom, 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th of October, 12pm – 2pm, €5 per workshop

Inspired by the spooky cornfields of Halloween folklore, this fun and hands-on workshop invites participants to create their very own scarecrow full of character and personality.
Using a mixture of natural, recycled and colourful materials, participants will learn how to design and build a unique scarecrow from the ground up. From creating the basic structure to adding clothing, features and imaginative finishing touches, this workshop encourages creativity, experimentation and plenty of Halloween spirit.
The session offers a relaxed and enjoyable opportunity to get crafty, work together and celebrate the traditions and creativity of the harvest season.
Participants are asked to bring along some old clothes to dress their scarecrow. Shirts, trousers, hats, scarves and other accessories are all welcome and will help make each creation truly unique.
Once completed, the scarecrows will be displayed outdoors around Nenagh Arts Centre throughout Halloween week, helping to transform the grounds into a festive and spooky seasonal display for visitors to enjoy.
