Ages 4-7
Please note: Children must be accompanied by an adult for this event.
Step into the mysterious world of shadows and storytelling in this fun, hands-on Halloween workshop with Emma Fisher.
For centuries, people around the world have used shadow puppetry to tell stories, entertain audiences and bring magical characters to life. From the intricate leather puppets of Indonesian Wayang Kulit to the rich traditions of Chinese shadow theatre, this ancient art form continues to capture imaginations across generations.
In this creative workshop, children will design and make their own spooky shadow puppets before experimenting with light, shape and movement to see their creations come alive on screen. Ghosts, monsters, witches and magical creatures are all welcome as young participants create their own Halloween-inspired characters and stories.
Packed with creativity, imagination and plenty of seasonal fun, this workshop offers a playful introduction to storytelling through art and performance.
